Sorting thru the parts that came with mu SS500. Can anyone identify this one? Thanks

I'll give it a shot, and report what my results are. Might be a while, as I'm in the midst of making toys, repairing/refurbishing a 2nd SS 500, and a joiner. That, plus spring yard work projects has my plate full.

@DLB, Thanks for the advice on checking out high speed vibration. I have a router table that I mount ion a cutout on one of my workbench. I grabbed a used one. Hope it has a lot of life left in it.

Update on the hot idler shaft issue. I picked up a replacement idler/sheave assembly. Night and day difference in how they spin. The 'hot' one is definitely bad, replacement one is doing fine. Thanks to all that helped me figure this out.

I have a SS 500 that was upgraded to the double tilt by the previous owner. I'd like to know what experienced smithers think about using it for under table routing. And, what components would be needed. Thanks much

My SS 500 band-saw doesn't have the dust port. Is there a recommended way to add one?
