A couple of new ones
My Christmas post mentioned that I had another music box to make and it was finally finished a couple of weeks ago. This one is similar to the last one but was made from oak and paduk. It has a picture of my G-Grandaughter on the front so I chose not to show that face. This one plays "You Are M...

Steve:
I also offer my condolences to you and your family.
As many others have said, Charlese was a mainstay of this forum for quite some time. I enjoyed his posts and his comments on mine were valuable to me. I am saddened to hear of his passing
He has been and will continue to be missed!

Re: Anybody Using a Microjig
Just bought one today, gripper 3D advanced. Have not put it together yet but look forward to trying it out.
Too bad they are no longer made in the U.S., but Taiwan is a good second best.

Re: Anybody Using a Microjig
Thanks for the feedback. I have an opportunity to get a GRR-Ripper with several options on sale, though in $Cdn. it is still quite expensive. But I might just go and look at it. I know Milescraft sells a similar product for less but I understand the Microjig is made in the U.S. so I would prefer to ...

Anybody Using a Microjig
Are any of you using a Microjig with your ShopSmith? I have been considering one of them for some time and wondered if it was practical on a ShopSmith. For instance does it clear the splitter after removing the blade guard.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Chistmas Gifts
Thanks for the comments! Always nice to get feedback. The musical movement was purchased on Amazon. It's a Sanyo 12 note movement and little tinny but ok for a two year old. There is another supplier in the U.S., "The Music Box Attic" that has a much wider selection and I suspect better q...

Chistmas Gifts
I have been busy making a few gifts again this year, as I'm sure many of you have. The first items were five bread knives (no pictures but similar to what I have done in the past). The nicest one (maple and purple heart) went to a grandson and his wife along with a matching cutting board I had made ...
