Re: need electrical part
I purchased a cam from Shapeways just recently (found a link to the source elsewhere). It looks very good, the surface is rough (like a 3d printer usually does) but I don't think that will matter. I will definitely get the rack when available. My Mark VII is in like new shape with no foreseeable iss...

Re: Copper vs PVC vs PEX
I would never use copper for water anymore. i have had to do repipes because of pinholes. on one of the repipes the copper was like egg shells thin. PVC has issues also with it becoming brittle over time but i would take it over copper in a house water system. the pex is my go to now. the campgroun...

Re: Powerpro problem-maybe?
Was in the shop today...tool was on but idle and i was across the room. Heard a Pop and possibly saw a flash and the circuit tripped. Reset everything and all tools came back on except the Powerpro. Nothing on the display when toggle switched is flipped. I did tear it apart enough to determine that...

Re: Can you id this old metal lathe?
Thank you and my brother thanks you! Looks like that was from 1949 through the 50's and then changed color in the 60's so a lot of year out there. The lathe seems to have most of the parts and I can more then likely find a few things to add to it if I decide to take it. Will have to give him some $...

I don't think you will get that from the mothership. However, full assemblies are available on ebay pretty reasonable. You might try there.

Re: Idler shaft bearing on the Power Pro???
Now I don't often use the higher speeds, saw speed or below are the majority of the time and I have not seen the bearing issues yet, possible because of that. I have not seen the pulley coming loose either, again that might be more of how I use my machines. I think that is possibly why you haven't ...
