My problem was fixed by replacing the arbor. shopsmith engineer was kind enough contact me and trust my measurements which he said was out of spec. He sent me a new arbor that I measured maybe 1 mil at the arbor and maybe 0 to 4 m ...

I have been using a cheap dial gauge. I use it for the fence every time and blade and table sometimes. I get very consistent results and measurements the bare arbor around .002 out.

I think using the Bosch would be a quick way to verify the calibration. Assuming that the initial calibration is as accurate as possible. I am a beginner woodworker and have just ordered a Mark 7.
