Re: Pet Peeve
I entirely agree with Pet Peeve's post about any lack of responsiveness from $$. Replying to the replying poster (Dusty), I usually receive a reply email from my Dr. within a few hours. However, we are both old school, and adapted to new technology with holding to the concept of professional,personal...

If it weren't for JPG, this would be a absentee ghost website.

Re: Order Status
At least 5 times, after being on hold listening to "We are experiencing high call volumes." I was told numerous times that my "belt sander parts would ship by the end of the week." My parts were FINALLY shipped yesterday(3/27/18) according to their website, after a final terse con...

Re: Belt sander rebuild, cam lock won't
I'm sorry my assumption, but they are definitely in disaray! I can't envision how this company is going to survive with poor customer service. However, I suspect cash flow is the issue.

Re: Belt sander rebuild, cam lock won't
I just bought my belt sander a Birthday Cake, because it is exactly one month since I placed my online order for a replacement tension knob assembly and the idler arm. I have owned my SS since new in 1981. In one month, and many phone calls, nothing shipped, and I keep getting the same BS speeches a...

Re: Belt sander rebuild, cam lock won't
Placed my online order on 2/19/2018. On 2/15/2018 "we're building each part by hand." I am an original(1981)new Mark V with many upgrade purchases since then. Now hold your breath til blue, then have a will for your' heir. By the time you get through probate, perhaps new parts from Shopsmi...

Re: Order Status
On Feb. 19, 2018 I placed an order for the sanding belt tension knob , and roller assembly. 17 days later, and the thing hasn't even shipped yet. My previous, and recent order for drive lugs and one drive connector also took forever. Customer service told me that they "build each item when orde...

Re: Belt sander rebuild, cam lock won't
After days of unsuccessfully messing with it, and trying everything,I have come to the conclusion that they are just worn out. I just ordered replacement idler assembly and tensioning knob. To send it in for repair is more than replacement assembly and parts.
