Odd I guess. My CC charges always say "pending" till it ships. I guess I'm the lucky one. Not trying to make an issue here, just my experience.

Frankly, if it wasn't true, I wouldn't do business with the company because even in my opinion, that would be fraud. They can however, put a hold on the account if it's a...

Re: Shopsmith specials?

That would be true, but that is the law. You cannot charge legally until the item ships.

Shopsmith specials?

Most folks run "specials" to rid themselves of excess inventory. I've never seen one that runs them to drum up additional business and immediately put them on back order. Why does SS do this? Maybe this is in the wrong area, but it is woodworking related.

From what the instructions state, it would appear that way.

Re: Auxiliary spindle shaft guard

I know this post is 12 years old, but I got the spindle guard in yesterday, no hardware but I found instructions on line. The instructions clearly show holes already in the power head but mine will have to be drilled. I see from the instructions I need to buy 1/4" x 20 x 5/8" button-head s...

Re: Any idea what this is?

Re: Changing speeds

Sorry, don't claim to be an expert at the terminology, doing the best I can based on watching video and looking at exploding diagrams, still new at this particular equipment. Yes, you have answered my question, thanks.
