John, is that the biggest crosscut sled I've ever seen leaning against the wall behind your SS??

Re: Woodriver mortising attachment fit?
It's the attachment at the quill, it comes with a couple split spacers that go around the quill then fit into the chisel holder, but they aren't the right inside diameter. I'll try to post some pics later.

Re: Help - jointer spinning freely
You gentlemen had it right. It was the metal drive hub slipping on the shaft. The setscrew backed out just enough to allow it to spin. It was jammed up into the plastic power coupler so I didn’t have a chance to check it last night, ran out of time in the shop. Took about two minutes to fix this mor...

Help - jointer spinning freely

Re: Older Vs Newer Bandsaw

Nice work!
thanks again,
wes

That's what I was wondering. The rotating washer sounds like a great idea, any pics of that solution?

Re: Older Vs Newer Bandsaw
Thanks a bunch, Ed - very creative solution!
Another quick question, the miter gauge that fits the tablesaw doesn't seem to fit the ci table for the bandsaw. Am I missing a separate miter gauge that belongs to the bandsaw table?

Yep, saw that the upper part of the clamp was angled upward. Dennis, did you try to heat it up or just squeeze it in the vise cold? Hate to break it...
