I would reccomend Tractor Supply, Rural King, Blaines or other farm type stores. I made puzzles with horse shoes years ago and Tractor Supply had bins of all sizes.

17xx rpm is pretty slow since most inexpensive/cheap grinders spin at 3450 rpm

A. Piece of any hardwood could easily be any size spacer that you need.
