Re: power station

If you are referring to the speed ranges for the various attachments for the Power Station, those are usually stated in the manual for the particular attachment, if I recall correctly. I currently have my bandsaw on the Power Station; but, I also have had my strip sander on it as well.

Re: Warped bandsaw table?

I have the aluminum table on my SS bandsaw. On the front of the table where the table is split in half, there is a bolt (thumb screw like) that contacts both table halves. I don't see a bolt in your first photo. I don't know if the cast tables are supposed to have one. If so, is your's missing? That...

Re: Outdoor 10ER vs. Winter

I saw your update over in this post , saying that it had weathered the winter just fine. Out of curiosity, was that with or without the Boeshield T9? Without. Dan, Did you end up putting a cover over the equipment like a breathable material or a tarp? Also, is there any roof structure over it as we...

Re: Outdoor 10ER vs. Winter

John, T9 sounds like a good way to go regardless of the lack of humidity around here. I've been meaning to try some of it, and just haven't gotten around to it. I guess it's time. I saw your update over in this post , saying that it had weathered the winter just fine. Out of curiosity, was that wit...

RFGuy, I am in a relatively dry location. That is a great factor.

Re: Informal Poll - Size of your Shop and how many Shopsmiths?

Obviously, I'm not Everett; but, with regard to outdoor storage of my 10ER, here is a link to a thread I started: http://www.shopsmith.com/ss_forum/maintenance-and-repair-f10/outdoor-10er-vs-winter-t21795.html By the way, I have checked on it through the relatively wet winter we have had, and it is ...

Re: Informal Poll - Size of your Shop and how many Shopsmiths?

I have half of a 2 car garage, around 200 sq. feet. I have a MarkV and 2 10ER's. The MKV has been dedicated to bandsaw duty while one of the 10ER's is a dedicated drill press and the other used to be a dedicated lathe that now sits outside my rear garage door under a deck and get sanding duty in the...

Yours appears to have the same casting mark as the one on eBay. Mine is completely different.
I wonder which is more valuable? :D
Well, since we know of two with your casting mark and only one with mine... :D :D :D
Okay, you win. :D
