I spent the day continuing to mill up the components. The zebra wood trim and counter are done. Tomorrow is a lot of sanding and then maybe start assembly.

Re: Why Do I Always Wait Too Long to Change The Dust Bag?
Because the shop boy, you know the one we all have that comes by to clean our shop, always forgets it. And I really hate emptying those things. Mine always seem to be full at the exact moment that I am not in the mood to empty them. Of course I am never in the mood

Re: A Bookshelf
I received all the mahogany ply and cut up what parts I needed and got the face frames glued to the shelves. I also milled up the counter trim with the zebra wood. With luck I will get everything to final dimensions tomorrow and assemble on Sun.

Re: dodecagon--12 sided box
15 degrees. It is the number of sides times two ( 24 in this case) and divides into 360.

Re: Home made segmented ring sanding jig
Thanks for the compliment Al. As usual it came out of necessity. At the time I was turning a lot of paduak which has really nasty dust so I had to come up with a way to sand the rings with minimal dust. The other problem I was having was consistency in the thickness. I was doing a really tall paduak...
