Table alignment jig

Post by Bruce »

I got this jig idea in an email from Woodsmith. It is for aligning the table in drill press mode.

Table Alignment Jig

This is a GOOD tip Bruce. It works well with the Shopsmith Main Table (in the drill press mode). Nick did something similar to this in either a Tip or a Sawdust Session.

P.S. This is an interesting session as well; it shows how to make certain that your drilled holes are the correct depth.

You could just mount the disk sander with no sanding pad and lower it to the table. I do something very similar for my mill for tramming it. I like the jig ideal and will keep it in the back of my mind thanks.
