Keep an eye out for a Model 10 lower blade guard. If you find two Model 10 Lower belt guards, I'll buy the second one.

Will do. That is about the only thing I am missing that I know of.

Cruising Facebook Marketplace there are some real bargains on Shopsmiths. This is one, just a little bit too far to drive, a jointer for $75 in New Castle, Indiana. Quite a few greenies for under $100, too.

ER with speed changer, special 4E jointer headrest, jointer, jig saw. $100.

Motor doesn't work but still a deal? Not for me but someone here?

It is absolutely a great deal. The motor is no problem Probably just the start switch needs to be cleaned. Besides it is in excellent shape.

In photo 13 the part on the right appears to be the legendary hinge plate for the 4E Jointer.

No that is part of the lower dust collection system. It fastens under the tabel between the table legs.

The 4E jointer hinge plate is in the attached picture.
