ER For Sale

Post by Rusty »

A buddy of mine acquired an ER10 (s/n R54283) and no longer has room to store it. The previous owner said that it was functional, but this fact has not been verified. It comes with a disc sander, lathe parts and a scroll saw. It's location is Crescent City, CA.
$ 50.00 takes it.
Buyer would be required to come pick it up.

Lol... Gotta laugh at myself. When my buddy offered me this SS, I rushed to look at it in hopes that it included the locking wheels for the legs, which was really all I needed since I already have a Mark 5. When I realized it was an ER10 mounted to a wood bench, I lost hope. Then tonight while reviewing my photos of his ER, I noticed SS wheels that were mounted to it's wooded bench.... So,,, I guess I'll take the ER, rob the wheels for my Mark 5 and maybe wall mount the ER to be used as a dedicated drill press..
Guess I should have looked closer initially!
Btw, I may not post much, but I love this site.
Thanks everyone!

Model 10 casters will not fit a Mark 5.

Note that the casters for the 10ER function the same as the ones for the Mk v's but the mounting is different. The Mark V legs slope out, the 10ER legs are vertical.

Dang..... You guys are right... In the pic, the mounting portion looked rounded, but I just enlarged my photo and now see that it's mounting is flat, just like the one in your photo.... I'm trying to justify taking this old girl home, but I really don't have the space either... Hmmmm.
Thanks guys!

They are neat machines. One option that doesn't take a lot of space is to cut the base short and make it a dedicated drill press. I did that with one of mine, and many others have done that too.
