Anyone try the Bosch Soft-Material blades?

I picked up a pack to try off a clearance rack, I guess they didn't sell well but I'm wondering why???

For Styrofoam and dense rubbery upholstery type foams, I use a razor knife like this one. But, I'm usually cutting just deep enough for a tool, pistol, long gun, or knife. That Bosch blade would cut way too deep. If one had a need for cutting shapes like an upholsterer, that blade in a jig saw would be the ticket.
