Look what you can buy again, one of my favorite clamps!

Post by reible »

I have a collection of these clamps when they were made by Jorgensen and loved them.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0035 ... UTF8&psc=1

I wanted more but they were gone for a couple of years. Now the "new" company has them out again so I ordered 3 of them to see if they are still the same clamp or if they have gone down hill. Should have them Thursday and it shouldn't take to long to decide.

If they are the same then the price is a bargain so long as you order a couple of them to off set the postage.

They also have the 4" and 12" back out so if I like them I pick up a couple more 12" to finish off my collection.

If you too have been waiting to see these again, well it happened.

Clamps arrived a day early. Visual inspection turned up nothing different other then they look newer since there has been no wear and tear yet. Looks like the same parts put together the same way and I'd say at the same place.

Just to check I weighed them and no difference there either, so unlikely they did anything other then start making them again.

That is good news as sometimes they make changes for the worse or use cheaper materials to get better profits.

So if you have been wanting them I think it is safe to order there again.

Wow that is a really crazy price. Not sure what the current exchange rate is but I paid $15.50 USD. The postage was high for just one but I ordered three for the same $9.99 rate they had for one.

Alexa seems to think the amount should be $20.84 Canadian.....
