Dvds

Post by Thechaad »

Hi everyone, I'm new to shopsmithing and find readinh the manual very difficult. I was wondering if anyone knew where I can find the dvd essentials please? I live in Canada and shopsmith won't send stuff up here. I don't mind second hand. Maybe you have seen some good YouTube videos that can help. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Not knowing what you have,

Start here: https://www.shopsmith.com/ss_forum/view ... 90#p185690

I have restored / rewritten many of the manuals in PDF Form. They have enhanced photos, they can be zoomed to improve readability, there is an active table of contents in many meaning you can click to go there, and for those I did re-write, they are word searchable.

There is also Jacob Anderson's site where he has currently 39 free videos and some more extensive repair DVD's that he sells for a modest price.

Equally he does perform Headstock repair and servicing, which you have to pre-arrange. All around good guy and he sells some parts for the Mark 5 / Mark V vintages.

Also on eBay https://www.ebay.com/str/bandsawtirewarehouse and they can ship to Canada

If you have a 10E or 10ER, then Skip Campbell at MKC Tools http://www.mkctools.com/

Or Hog Winslow at https://www.ebay.com/str/hogwinslow1960

In Canada, try also

Hopefully that helps.
