I think those are a router shield. But they are missing the piece that makes it attach to the quill shaft.

The question mark was for the next item, Some type of non SS jig, possibly for sharpening drill bits, or drilling dowel holes.

Ron has given you a pretty good listing of what you have in the picture. In the picture below I have labeled the items to better describe them for you. Some of the items shown are not Shopsmith parts, ie. the item not numbered between the Shaper/Router Shield #4 and the Feather Board #1.

ceyoung77 Mark VII parts.jpg (244.7 KiB) Viewed 26843 times
#1 Feather Boards, grey regular and red has the Quill attachment.
#2 Tenon Master Jig.
#3 10" Sanding Disk - one side is flat the other side is Conical (mounting side).
#4 Shaper/Router Shields - top one appears to have the Quill attachment, the bottom one has no attachment parts.
#5 1/2" Shaper Arbor P/N 555117 or the previous 1/2" Universal Arbor 505505 version 2 with a shaper cutter and rub collar installed.
#6 1/2" Universal Arbor P/N 505505 version 1 which would also have a machined spacer and 2 machined washers (possibly #14).
#7 1/2" Router Chuck still in package.
#8 A sanding drum but not a Shopsmith one.
#9 The Control Sheave with the Control Follower from the Idler Shaft Assembly.
#10 Looks like 3 misc arbors not Shopsmith for those having 2 set screws.
#11 Unknown Parts
#12 Saw Blade Arbor P/N 505511 version 1.
#13 Moulding Knives - if Shopsmith brand made before September 2011 they are used in sets of 3 knives on Molder Head P/N 505553 or earlier. If made after they use the current Molder Head P/N 556213.
#14 Machined Washers - if 1/2" hole they go to Arbor P/N 505505, if 5/8" hole they go to Arbor P/N 505506.
#15 Is the Drum Sander/Shaper Vacuum Attachment which attaches to the bottom of the Table Inserts.
#16 Is the Drum Sander/Shaper Fence for the Mark V Models 510, 505, 520 & new Mark 7 with the larger Table System. This is not the Sander/Shaper Fence for the Mark VII made in the 1960's or the Mark 5 and Mark V 500 with the original Table System. On the Mark VII Sander/Shaper Fence the mounting holes are between the adjustment controls and it is specific to the Mark VII.

For your reference a PDF of the Manual for the Mark VII Shaper Fence is below.

Some of the items are newer than the 1960's when the Mark VII was made. It is common for non-Shopsmith parts to get mixed in with Shopsmith tools over the years.

Bob and Ron were posting while I was putting this information together today.

Wow! Thanks so much. That's all great. I printed a copy of the manual and am trying to figure out how to ensure every part that should be lubricated is lubricated prior to plugging it in and turning it on.

I found a couple more items last night. Obviously the one item is a drill chuck, is the other the arbor that the chuck fits?

I'm relatively certain that I've gotten everything lubricated according to the manual, but I was wondering what is the best way to keep the variable cam lubricated?

Thanks!
