Gallery of Restorations

Post by shipwright »

As a tribute to the quality, durability, and timeless appeal of the 10ER and the Mark V, I think that a gallery of forum user restorations should be started.

It will give us all a chance to see how many fine restorations have been done and give hope to those attempting their first.

Post what you like but a nice format might be two photos, one whole machine and one detail of your choice.

Please participate if you have done one (or many) so that we can all enjoy the show.

In honor of the longest thread I've seen recently, I think Mickyd should start.

I didn't take before pictures and I can only find after pictures of one so here are two after pictures of the one I like the best.

I see that most of us took pictures in front of garage doors :) Could it be that it is the only presentable place we have for a background? :)
