JPG, what were the eclips you sent him? I have two different sizes which doesn’t exactly make sense and one is beat up.

I just noticed your bearing detail has a ridge on one face of the outer ring of the bearing. So NOW I understand where the 1.357 dimension comes from(that has been bothering me!). Still a mystery is the inclusion of the internal race ring bushing that is larger than the 1/2" outer ring spacer in MY eccentric. Unfortunately the SS parts drawings do not get into the details internal to the eccentric.
*Anyone rebuilding the eccentric assembly, I recommend the inclusion of a 1/2" bushing between the two bearings with a 5/8" bore. This places the axial stress between the inner races only rather than through the outer race and the internal bearing balls.
This drawing shows the difference between the inner and outer race width - do I understand correctly??
* In retrospect this is not necessary. The axial stress cannot be avoided through the inner bearing since the outer immovable ring spacer is the recipient of that stress. Cannot hurt however.

Yes, you understand correctly, but I am not even sure why I bothered to add the overall dimension at the outer bearing race of 1.371 it really does not matter. Only the inner races contact the e-clips. I assume everyone's overall stack-up dimension through the bearings at the outside of the inner bearing races will vary slightly based on wear. My overall is 1.357.
I believe the internal spacer ring creates a shoulder for the bearings outer race? If you take the spacer out of the eccentric and place it against the bearing, the bearings outer race will sit in the shoulder of those two spacer rings locking them together (so to speak). I don't see any reason why it would be needed since the inside bore of the eccentric aligns everything just fine. But that's how I see it.
