It is likely we will never get an accurate listing of when the Mark VII's were made by month. So many factors affect that. With the introduction being in October some units would have been made prior to the introduction. Many factors will vary when they were made. Were they made as ordered or was there stock on hand? Estimating units made or sold by month using the units sold by fiscal year is very difficult to make accurate guesses since sales/manufacturing most likely varied by month. The most we can do is use the information we have found and make a best guess. As more information is uncovered the more accurate the guess will be.

This holds true for all the Shopsmith tools made, be it the Model 10E or 10ER, Mark 5, Mark 2, Mark VII and others with missing numbers for when they were made.
