The PDF downloaded fine but FF blocked loading the web site page. Better safe than sorry. It does not worry me. That is why I have paid Malwarebytes and EsetNod Internet on all my devices.
If you read the cyber security sites you don't have to even click on things on a web site to get infected. I don't see that type of warning on my screen very often but if I look at the logs I see LOTS of web sites that were blocked. When I see an actual warning form ESET or Malwarebytes I take it seriously. These are cyber security companies that are top notch. I get daily updates to their security databases.
Do any of you remember a while back when Dusty was getting links in our posts for AD's? He had gotten bit by something he clicked on or downloaded that installed a PUP. Good security software (not the free stuff) mitigates that and lets you have piece of mind that you are protected.
I my opinion it is very much worth the money to not worry and angst over how something happened and how to fix it.

Fire Fox only flags that site as "insecure" because the site is "http" and not the newer 'https" which is encrypted. Until fairly recently this forum was flagged the same way.
The man who hosts that page is actually a member here, tucsonguy, and also runs the Facebook, Shopsmith Owners Group.

See if your system is happy with the first one. The second one is the one you visited that gave you the error message and FF flagged that all by itself.
