Adventure in Utah

I have been off the forum for a few weeks having some adventure and also doing a cabinet job which I swore I would never do again. So much for never. First off the adventure was amazing. My son and our neighbors traveled the White Rim Trail which is about 110 miles of pretty serious off roading in Utah. It was quite an expedition and even for me, a Montana boy, it was fun mixed in with some off roading that I have never experienced before. Stuff that makes you really nervous. Wheels less than 12” from >1000 ft drop offs and inclines that were steeper than I was comfortable with. Also fording the river at one point which was interesting to say the least. But at the end it was worth it ( we survived ). The camping was great and we got to float down the Green River on inner tubes at one point and get picked up by our companions about 5 miles down stream. We also explored an abandoned mine which was very cool. As an added attraction the entire area was in bloom. On return though it’s back to work on this house. First project is a set of carriage doors for the garage.
