Isn't that a little hard to sleep on? 😂
Seriously nice job!

Thanks! I'll pad it with a sheet or something. ;-)

It's going to make a solid foundation for the mattress....

Really nice platform bed !

I've been seeing these latenite commercials about Thuma platforms and considering if I want to give something similar a try .

Thanks! The Thuma bed was partly inspiration to build this. But it's actually the "Staked Bed" from The Anarchist's Design Book by Christopher Schwarz. Since it's a queen size, I did as he suggests in the text and added a third batten down the middle.

Very nice, again! I got that book this year, and I thought your bed was reminiscent of one of his chapters. Great work; let us know how it works out for night-times.

Nice legs! Can we learn a more about how you made them, and how they mount with those splayed angles?

I knew I had seen that design somewhere but couldn't find it in any of my books or plans and it was right on the shelf behind me the whole time. You did a beautiful job with it. Now you can use it for some well deserved rest.
