Part of the problem is that wet sanding and polishing removes the UV coating on the lens, so it won’t last. The only product I know of that has a replacement for the UV is a headlamp repair kit from Novus. Its not the 1-2-3 kit - its a kit specifically for headlamps.

Looks good John! Set up that way, changing height looks like it would become easier/less complicated. Do you find instability (racking) becomes more of an issue without the fixed table included in the set-up, or does it seem fairly stable as is? Looks good John! Set up that way, changing height looks like it would become easier/less complicated. Do you find instability (racking) becomes more of an issue without the fixed table included in the set-up, or does it seem fairly stable as is?

I've always liked the European multi-purpose machines - if space and budget were no object, I would consider one for my shop.
