Re: Headlight issues with these new plastic lens

Part of the problem is that wet sanding and polishing removes the UV coating on the lens, so it won’t last. The only product I know of that has a replacement for the UV is a headlamp repair kit from Novus. Its not the 1-2-3 kit - its a kit specifically for headlamps.

Re: 510/520 table connector tube length

Looks good John! Set up that way, changing height looks like it would become easier/less complicated. Do you find instability (racking) becomes more of an issue without the fixed table included in the set-up, or does it seem fairly stable as is? Re: Wolverine Sharpening Question

I would consider myself far from being an expert turner or sharpener, but so far I have been able to get by using just the base jig plus Varigrind attachment. There is a skew jig available, but so far I've been able to use the regular table with a little care. All my bench chisels and plane blades w...

Look up "Jacob Anderson Shopsmith" on Youtube - he has a few videos on speed control that might help you work through the issue. Here a link to one of them

Re: An interesting Table Saw

I've always liked the European multi-purpose machines - if space and budget were no object, I would consider one for my shop.
