Lathe Problems
I a having difficulty turning the inside of bowls that are about 4 or 5 inches deep and about 10 inches in diameter. The tool rest holder is angled and won't allow me to get below center of the bowl to shape the bottom. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Larry

Liquid Wood
Has anyone used liquid wood one manufacture is Abatron. It is advertised to use for structural repair. I was thinking on using it as a color change and glue between segments on bowls. It appears to be an epoxy product. Just looking for information on ease of use and how effective it is. Thanks Larry

Re: Incra Miter Gauge
Thanks again. I about decided to stay with the shopsmith miter gauge as I am getting real close using it and a starrett combination square. I think I am going to get the nova chuck from Shopsmith as I don't have enough money for both. Larry

Re: Experienced Turners - I have a question
I am looking at the Nova g3 chuck from Shopsmith and was wondering what the difference is between the Super Nova and the G3. I will using it to turn segmented bowls and vessels. They seem to recommend the Nova G3 for the Shopsith as opposed to the Nova 2 or Nova Super. Any help would be appreciated....

Re: Incra Miter Gauge
I do have a milling machine and should be able to mill it to the right size. It looks difficult to adjust the nylon slide screws. Has that caused you any problems? Thanks Larry

I also contacted Incra as algale did and got the same response. You would have to purchase the sled and the miter gauge.
Are there any clearance problems with the Kreg Miter gauge. Does the stop work pretty for repeated cuts? Thanks Larry

Incra Miter Gauge
Has anyone purchased an Incra 1000HD and milled the miter bar to fit a shopsmith grove. It looks like you could take .008 off the one side and about .050 off the bottom. Just curious to see if it would work. Thanks Larry

Re: 510 Saw Guard
Thanks for the help guys. I was looking on the saw guard exploded view instead of the table exploded view. Again I appreciate the help. Larry
