Re: Mini split advice..UPDATE

Well all said and done now, cost just over $4200 didn't get the 10% but did get the 5% and 12 month no finance charge, which works out about right since the 5% is on the entire amount and the 10% would have been on the cost of the unit only, (about half the total) no labor etc..of course had to file...

Re: set screw

Years ago I got the assortment box of set screws from Harbor Freight $9 has come in pretty handy on several occasions. Cheap way to fix your problem. Just keep trying different ones until one fits. Not sure if they make a metric one, I'm sure some one does if they don't https://www.harborfreight.com...

Works for me was planning on paying it off with six...

Re: Mini split advice

Wow crazy estimates, wouldn't do it for that kind of money. I have a small shop less then 400 sq ft and the garage is separate with normal door leading to the shop (have to go thru garage to get to shop) also around 400 sq ft. I have very good dust collection, have too with COPD, so don't think it w...

Mini split advice..UPDATE

Getting quotes on putting a Mitsubishi split air system in the workshop/garage, one head unit in the shop 12k and 9k for the garage side (probably seldom get used). His first quote was for a 24k outdoor condenser and two 12k heads. Seemed a little much, bigger then what I have for the house (den and...

Re: Tissue box

Looks very nice, like to make one, but how do you cut those ovals so nicely. Mine always end up looking a little jagged they don't look smooth or professional looking like they were stamped out, if you know what I mean. I can lay them out ok, just never able to cut them and look clean, and can I ass...

Re: Set Screws

I don't bother trying to figure stuff like that out anymore. I bought an assortment of setscrews box at Harbor Freight for nine bucks, I always find one that will work, then I know the size, if I run out...lol
