Re: Bandsaw Overhaul
Looks very nice. I just replaced the bearings on one of my bandsaws with the Shopsmith kit, but I have quite a bit of noise coming from the upper wheel. Here are my questions if you can help: How did you lubricate these needle bearings? What kind of grease did you use? How did you apply it? How much...

That's pretty funny. Their plywood comes from a similar source.
This is an online store that may be worth checking out. I prefer buying in person, but this may have items not locally available for some.

Re: Customer Service
Thanks Shawn. All good information you are sharing here. Maybe a little too tempting though...a cheaper DIY solution might prompt some of us to jump on the PowerPro bandwagon! :) Just curious, do you have to call sales to find out about these other promotions, or is it through email? Hope you get t...

Re: Customer Service
I too have had mixed experiences and have voiced my concerns not to complain, but just out of worry. I am very patient with Shopsmith because it is a system and business I want to support and want to see it succeed. When I have multiple issues that would keep me away from other places, I worry that ...

Re: Power Pro Power Supply
When you turn on the main power switch the machine boots up and while doing so plays a little tune. Is the noise you hear different then that? Ed Hi Ed. Yes I do hear that noise, but I also get "static" coming from the power supply. It stays constant as long as the main toggle switch is o...

Re: Power Pro Power Supply
I don't have a Power Pro but I have a lot of electrical/electronic experience. The noise could come from arcing in the mechanical power switch, the one I think you are calling Main. I would try to isolate that by plugging the SS into a switched power strip if you have one with sufficient power rati...

Power Pro Power Supply
Checking to see if anyone else hears a crackling noise from their power supply when power switch is engaged? Sounds like a static/arcing. It is not very loud, but can be easily heard even when enclosed in the headstock housing. It does this for me when just turning on the main power switch. It does ...

Re: Specials from the mother ship
I was wondering about this myself. I do not have a router table yet, I just acquired a router within the last month or so and was looking at building a table. The universal router table price appears that it might be a full table, but I was wondering if anyone had pictures. I did not get a chance to...

Re: Problems getting my order
Not wanting to dig up an old post, but I tried to find a relevant topic. I have also had issues with my orders from Shopsmith. I bought a used 520 about a year ago. I have been slowly buying up upgrades and also service parts and extra attachments for my machine. I purchased new the biscuit joiner a...
