I am also sorry for your loss, you have my prayers.

I find using the shopsmith as a lathe it's to low (I'm 6'6") and my back will get sore soon.

I have considered an adjustable height system or perhaps one machine a bit higher for lathe work.

I only have one powerpro so I will most likely become adjustable some day.

I have purchased some Taunton (FWW) Woodworking Classes and watch the videos more than once. My concern is that Taunton has had problems (Knots kitchen spam comes to mind) and does not always correct them. Last time I had them all out at one time there were 48 I think.... not counting scrapers and shaves. I have acquired a few more I'm gonna guess 54 now.
