Shopsmith offers an upgraded Lift-Assist with a design optimized for the PowerPro Smart Motor, which is ten pounds heavier than a conventional MARK V Smart Motor.
This upgraded Lift-Assist also provides a quick disconnect which allows the MARK 7 to be easily tilted left for under-table operations. Shopsmith also offers a cylinder upgrade to add these capabilities to an existing Shopsmith Lift-Assist.
